For over 20 years the Waller Family have been breeding, training and competing thoroughbreds, show and dressage horses. Situated in the lush Guanaba Valley, central to all major Equestrian Competitions and State facilities, we specialise in thoroughbreds off the track, performance and show horses in hand and under saddle to National and Grand National level.

Mel Waller -
Stud Manager and County Agent Aus
My passion for horses began as a young child, supported by my horsey Aunt and Coaches along the way, and has led me to many State Royal and National and Grand National Championships in Dressage and Showing.  Wanting to know everything I could outside of school I managed thoroughbred and Arabian studs and continued my education by achieving Diplomas in Equine Applied Veterinary Science, breeding, genetics, feed and nutrition and Bachelors in Horse Management and business.

I am Accredited International MSA Saddle fitter and County Saddlery Specialist and have worked as a Qualified Saddle fitter for the past 10 yrs, initially from my Saddleworld Store in Nerang until I sold the store to pursue my career with County Saddlery Ltd as the Aus Agent and now Head office after 6 yrs! I offer my clients unparalleled experience and knowledge from the Beginner / pleasure rider through to International level competitors and trainers, ensuring they have a rewarding experience with their horse.

Along with my Husband Adam, we love our country lifestyle and meticulously maintain our property for not only safety for all horses and riders concerned but in enabling us all to enjoy the beauty of the relaxed Country lifestyle.  Our teenage son Samuel works hard on the farm when not studying and playing sports and has a gentle special connection with all the horses, especially the young and timid ones.

He is very intelligent and is a people person, whom we are very proud of. He rode to success early but prefers to spend time in the paddocks with the horses. He often leads our horses and ponies at the major shows for us and is our biggest supporter! Amelia is our youngest, but at only 8 she has a fiercely competitive passion for competition as I do and began riding as Sam did from as soon as she could walk. Amelia qualified for her first Grand Nationals at 5 and has recently moved off the lead line to qualify on her own at Horse of the year for next year’s Grand Nationals.
